Eric Mackey, State Superintendent of Education, ex officio Trustee Kay Ivey, Governor of Alabama, President ex officioĭr. I'm amazed by the folks who live in a country that is still at least somewhat free because a superpower of 1776 era sent arms, ammunition, and even whole armies and a squadron of their navy to help us win our freedom would deny even LESS support, no troops, no navy, just weapons to another country struggling for their freedom. The Hon. I am not willing send US soldiers to fight and die, but sending weapons seems like us paying it forward for France helping us to fight against a similarly imperialist British king several hundred years ago. Countries have a right to NOT be invaded and subjugated. I support Ukraine's right to fight for their independence from the evil imperial Russian war machine, as I would support Poland, or Lithuania, or Finland or any other country - regardless of my opinion of their governement. Would that mean that if Russia wanted to invade us and take us over it would be OK, because, hey - our government isn't perfect, and so what the heck - being invaded would be a good thing, right? Let's see.if the US government were corrupt, and run by communists - AND IT IS. Re #4, and facts to support your assertions?
